Admission Requirements

There are specific admission guidelines for each of Wright State's online master's and education specialist degree programs. Please be sure to thoroughly review the guidelines for your program of interest.

Master of Education in Educational Leadership - Teacher Leader

Application Requirements

  1. Complete the online application and submit the $40 application fee.
  2. Submit official transcripts. Transcripts are required for all undergraduate and graduate coursework.
  3. Submit official Miller's Analogy test (MAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores.

    • The GRE school code for Wright State University is 1179.
  4. Submit a copy of your teaching license. (Optional)

Admission Requirements

The following items are considered during the admissions process:

  • Undergraduate GPA (and previous graduate GPA, if applicable)
  • Miller Analogies Test (MAT) or General Record Exam (GRE) test scores

MAT/GRE scores are not required if the applicant:

  • Holds a graduate degree
  • Has a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better

Unconditional Admission

Applicants are typically offered unconditional admission if they meet or exceed the following criteria:

  • Undergraduate GPA of 2.7 or better, or previous graduate GPA of 3.0 or better
  • MAT/GRE scores above the 49th percentile (if applicable)
